The Cornell Hotel Society, AlpAdria & Eastern Europe Chapter is supported by the Amici e Sostenitori della Cornell Hotel School (Friends and Supporters of the Cornell Hotel School), a non-profit Italian cultural association.

The scope of the association is to support the efforts, events and activities organized by the Cornell Hotel Society, AlpAdria & Eastern Europe Chapter, the promotion of Cornell Hotel School programs and scholarships. The association has a dedicated bank account by which it accepts payments to cover costs incurred by the organization of such events as well as pay out scholarships awarded to recipients.

According to the by-laws and charter of the association, every participant at our events must be a member of the Association Amici e Sostenitori della Cornell Hotel School. Regular membership is afforded to anyone who wishes to participate at an event. For this reason we are required to obtain the following data from each and every participant:

• First and Last Name
• Billing Address
• Email
• Phone
• Date of Birth
• Place of Birth
• Nationality
• Proof of Identity (Passport, Driver’s License or ID Card: document number, issue date, and expiry)

In accordance with European GDPR standard, we are obligated to demonstrate complete transparency with the treatment of your personal information. Your information is used only for the purpose of registration at one of our events and held privately on our secure servers. Your data may be completely eliminated at any time per your request.

Payments are handled by secure third-party payment gateways, PayPal and Stripe. No payment information (credit card details) are stored on our servers. Should there be any breach in security of your data, you will be notified immediately.
